What happens at a Workshop?
A warm welcome when you arrive. Your tutor will be aware that many students are absolute beginners and feeling self conscious, certain that everyone else will be able to do it except them.
Don’t worry – with groups not exceeding 12 students, individual support and tuition are given.
The structure of the day will be explained - refreshments / lunch breaks etc.
Workshops run from 10am to 4pm unless otherwise stated.
Bring along a packed lunch or purchase something from nearby local shops, open Saturday & Sunday.
Our kitchen contains cutlery, crockery, a kettle, a fridge and microwave.
Complimentary tea and coffee available all day.
Materials
We have loan and 'pay as you use' acrylics, oils, watercolours, printing materials and
equipment and general odds and ends, to allow you to produce work.
So don't be put off by the expense of buying all the gear - use ours until you know
which is your favourite medium or just to explore new materials without a lot of
expense.
Course Fees
All classes:....£49.00 for 5 weekly classes of 2 hours
Except:..........Young Fun'Works' (7-9 year olds) £30.00 for 5 weekly classes of 1 1/4 hours.
.....................Young 'Works' (9-11 year olds) £30.00 for 5 weekly classes of 1 1/4 hours.
.....................Youth ‘Works’ (12-14 year olds) £36.00 for 5 weekly classes of 2 hours.
Workshop Costs are given with each workshop description.
ALL WEEKLY CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS ARE SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS UNLESS SPECIFICALLY STATED OTHERWISE.

Flexible Enrolment
- Join a class at any time.
- Pay for a block of 5 classes at a time.
- You can have 1 pre-arranged credit in each block of 5 weekly classes.
Accommodation
We can provide a list of local B & B’s, Hotels, Motels & Guest Houses for
you to select and arrange your accommodation. Some are within walking distance of ‘The Works' Art School.
Travel
A12 and A14 give access to East Anglia. Train service from London Liverpool Street to Beccles. Station 5 mins walk from 'The Works' Art School.

On a one to one basis or in a small private group can be arranged.
Commissions
We can arrange for an artist to produce specialised work commissioned by you.
